Kangaroo

Kangaroo is a uniquely Australian game meat that is lean and healthy with around two per cent fat and very healthy levels of quality protein, iron and zinc. Because kangaroo meat is so low in fat content, it should be cooked quickly to avoid overcooking. 

Research suggests there over 30 million kangaroos in Australia. From 48 different species, five are currently harvested for meat.

Kangaroo meat is also increasing in popularity in Europe, where it's used for steaks, salami or sausages. 

Venison

Like Kangaroo, Venison is virtually fat free, high in protein and low in cholesterol, making it a great meat for the health and diet conscious.
