Premium Gold Range

Cotton Tree Meats Premium Gold is made up of its Meat Standards Australia (MSA) beef range, and it's 100 Day Grain Fed range.

In simple terms, it's a grading programe that guarantees the tenderness of Cotton Tree Premium Gold. All of their MSA graded beef is labelled with a guaranteed grade and recommended cooking method to identify beef eating quality according to consumers.

Integrity

Cotton Tree Meats are licensed to use the MSA Trademark and certify their Premium Gold products via an approved Quality Management System in accordance with the MSA Standards Manual.

Grading

The beginning of the Cotton Tree Meats Premium Gold range sees MSA certified graders collate information from the producer, supervise processing standards and collect individual carcase attributes using a uniform set of standards.

Individual beef carcase attributes collected include

  • breed content
  • meat colour
  • fat depth
  • marbling
  • maturity, and
  • ultimate pH.

Results are allocated to the carcase including individual primal quality grades, days of ageing required and recommended cooking method.

The benefits for you are a total of 28 different grades within the Premium Gold Range.

100 Day Grain Fed Range

Cotton Tree Meats Premium Gold 100 Day Grain Fed is an exciting product of incredible quality and absolute consistency.

Cattle under the program are grass-fed, then grain-fed for at least 100 days. Examples include Certified Black Angus and Wagyhu.

This gives culinary connoisseurs the best of both worlds; the rich flavour of pasture-fed beef, and the marbling, tenderness and consistent quality associated with grain feeding.
